29 Reviews For This Extension
This extension is an exercise in frustration. Navigating through the settings is like deciphering a code, and even after spending an unreasonable amount of time, I couldn't get it to work properly. A prime example of a poorly executed concept that should never have seen the light of day.
I gave this extension a chance, hoping for a seamless integration with my streaming services. However, it turned out to be nothing more than a half-baked solution. The trimming process is convoluted, and the extension often freezes or crashes, making it more of a hindrance than a helpful tool.
The Trim IMDb Ratings extension on Netflix and Prime Video is a disaster waiting to happen. Not only does it fail to live up to its promises, but it also slows down the overall performance of my browser. It's not worth compromising the stability of your system for a feature that barely works
I regret ever installing this extension. It claims to simplify the process of adjusting IMDb ratings, but in reality, it's a headache. The lack of clear instructions and a poorly designed user interface make it a frustrating and counterproductive tool for anyone seeking an efficient solution.
This extension is like a puzzle missing half its pieces. I attempted to use it to trim IMDb ratings on Netflix and Prime Video, but the instructions are vague, and the overall functionality is confusing. It feels like the developers didn't bother testing it thoroughly before releasing it
What a disappointment! This extension claims to trim IMDb ratings on Netflix and Prime Video, but it's far from efficient. The installation process is unnecessarily complicated, and even after getting it set up, I struggled to see any significant improvement in my viewing experience. Definitely not worth the hassle
I downloaded this extension hoping to enhance my streaming experience, but it ended up being a complete letdown. The functionality is unclear, and I spent more time trying to figure out how to use it than actually enjoying my content. It's far from seamless and needs a major overhaul in terms of usability
This extension is a nightmare to use! The interface is clunky, and it's not user-friendly at all. Trying to trim IMDb ratings on Netflix and Prime Video feels like navigating a maze without a map. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more intuitive tool.
The support or contact team are responding to complaints and this has made my usage of this extension a worst experience so far
It is not user friendly and so annoying
Needs permissions to read the data on ALL sites. 1/4th of the ratings are not accurate on Netflix--assumingly because it does not use movie IDs but rather searches the title on IMDB and if something else pops up as the first result then that is the rating you will see.
Kudos to the developers behind Trim for creating such a useful tool! It's clear they understand the needs of streamers who value both convenience and reliable information
One thing that sets Trim apart is its accuracy in displaying up-to-date IMDB ratings. I can always trust the information it provides, ensuring I make informed choices every time.
Trim has become my go-to tool for discovering hidden gems on Netflix and Prime Video. The detailed IMDB ratings provide valuable insights into the overall quality of each title.
Thanks to Trim, I no longer have to switch between apps or open a separate browser tab just to check the ratings. It's incredibly convenient having everything in one place!
The visuals on Trim are stunning! The user interface is sleek, modern, and easy to navigate. It adds a touch of elegance to my streaming sessions.
I love how Trim enhances my decision-making process when browsing through the vast libraries of Netflix and Prime Video. The IMDB ratings give me confidence that I'm choosing quality content.
Trim has made my streaming experience so much better! With its seamless integration into Netflix and Prime Video, I can easily see the IMDB ratings of movies and shows before deciding what to watch."
Did precisely very thing it says, pleasant extension and simple to design. Great visuals
I'm grateful for the usefulness of this amazing extension
The extension opened a popup while I was browsing on amazon.com. It was a release notes on "What's new in Trim 7.41". I don't want extensions taking over a webpage to show show their content. Instant uninstall
Im happy with Trim but the new "auto skip intro" feature should be optional. I cant find where i can turn it off
Almost half of the movies and TV shows don't have a rating, even though they exist on IMDb
permissions on all websites, no thanks. Bye
HAHAHAHA IT ASKS FOR PERMISSION ON «ALL» WEBSITES Bye bye, never touching this again. Their excuse : «so that we don't ask for permission updates every time we add a new supported platform» Hahaha yeah sure. How about I uninstall it so that you don't have to ask ever again indeed, since that's what you want. You like that? Well I hope you do, cause that's happening. «Oh but you can restrict the extension access to certain sites» hahah yeah mate, I'm going to write down an infinie number of websites addresses that I will visit in the future, including websites that do not exist yet. You think we're stupid? Who the hell they think we are, braindead dumb guinea pigs? How about you send me your websites data, including passport details on your flights booking websites, and bank account details on your online banking. Go ahead, give your data to me. No? Yeah didn't think so. Me neither. I will make sure to tell my friends to uninstall it.
On Disney+ the Video is blurry with this "Trim Ratings...Vers. 7.38" (Brave Browser)
Requesting permissions for every website is simply not acceptable.
Asking for permissions on all sites is an unacceptable security risk. I will not put in the effort to restrict Trim manually, potentially breaking or limiting the functionality. Chrome has a built-in system to prompt on permissions changes, which works great and is transparent. Having that prompt whenever Trim updates is not annoying to me, but actually provides a nice reminder that it now works on different site. Until this is resolved, I will uninstall the plugin, and advice against it to friends and family.
Don't ask for permissions for all sites, just tell us to turn it on
